Wind Energy conversion is also a proven technology and has reached a level of sophistication and atomization. Prakash Industries Ltd. has set up Wind Power Generating Farms at Muppandal in the state of Tamilnadu.

The plant and machinery installed is state of the art technology supplied by one of the leading manufacturers having Danish collaboration. From the time of launch of the Wind Power Project, PIL has come a long way by having established itself as an important player in this sector.
